The Guira Cuckoo always walk in groups. They are extremely sociable and live in both rural areas and cities. It is common to see the gang of 10 to 12 individuals flying and vocalizing between trees and rooftops. Carnivores, they eat grasshoppers, bugs, spiders, etc. When there is shortage of arthropods eat fruits, berries, seeds and coconuts.
