One of the things I adore most about elephants is watching their calves. I enjoy watching them as they feed, sleep and play ...all with the hope that they are truly discovering the world around them. Yet, I must admit, I really love it when they are learning how to use their trunk or, better said, when they are trying to learn what to do with it.
