Deep in the giant woods of Sequoia National Park, I found a cautious mother black bear slowly taking her time to explore the woods and forage for food. After a few minutes of observing, I spotted the reason for her caution: her cub crested the ridge and followed mom down. I watched the pair eat and play until the wandered off down the mountain. An amazing experience!
