    A gray whale cow and her calf glide through the kelp forests of Big Sur as they migrate to their feeding grounds in Alaska. It was a slow morning as we waited at our vantage point on the cliffs, but we finally saw blows to the south and soon we had cow/calf pairs passing by below us. It made a very exciting afternoon! #nodrone

    This photo makes me feel the serenity of the ocean. Mother and baby grey whale surface peacefully, beautifully framed by the giant kelp. The color contrast between kelps and water makes the photo specially dramatic
