I came across this image plastered on a utility pole while photographing the annual carnival parade on the island of Trinidad. I liked how the perspective of the image makes it appear as if the four women were enjoying the celebration along with the real bystanders. Curious about the image, I discovered that it was part of a feature in the October 2011 issue of National Geographic, with the original image of the four Mongolian women taken by photographer Mark Leong.
