After hearing about an amazing valley of freestanding cliffs in the south of Iceland, my partner and I made our way out to see it with our own eyes. What we found was absolutely beautiful, named Fjaðrárgljúfur, with the Icelandic summer transforming the landscape into an indescribable land of green hues. Our intention with this shoot was to portray the feeling of a 'lone wanderer', isolated within nature. The sense of scale against the freestanding cliffs aided in telling this story.
