    May 2, 2015 was a hot and sunny day at Joshua Tree National Park. The stark desert landscape was beautiful against a bright blue sky. During a hike through the boulders and cacti, I saw this splash of color. Hot pink is one of my favorite colors, but it was a delightful surprise in the bleak Mojave Desert.
