Leucistic Canada Goose, showing the beautiful patterns in it's wings. The lighter toned coloring is caused by a rare genetic mutation known as Leucisim. I came across this goose in the Pleasant Creek State Recreation Area near Palo, Iowa. I feel very lucky for having had this rare opportunity to spend some time with it. I used light HDR toning in the processing of this image.
