Our beautiful magnolia trees in Michigan took weeks longer to bloom this spring because the buds would just not open up due to the cold spring we've been having on top of our bitterly cold 2nd winter in a row which I fear is a result of climate changes going on. The mating season for our local birds is just beginning now after a month's delay also. I'm glad their instincts told them to wait before bringing their babies into the world.
