Lake Erie is a shallow lake when compared to the others, but it can be a nasty place to be when one of mother nature storms decide to make an entry. It was just that kind of day when my son put the throttle in our Sea Ray as far forward as it would go. With less that a minute to go, we found Save Harbor at Put-In-Bay. We lashed the boat with ropes and fenders, until we were sure she was safe.
