    Edit Photo Details Shadow the Norwegian Elkhound!   #barkfest
    This lovely little Norwegian Elkhound's name is Shadow. We adopted her last June from the Humane Society in Detroit Lakes, MN. She is quite the sweetest, smartest, prettiest little dog I've ever known. According to Wikipedia, "The Norwegian Elkhound is an ancient breed, having been developed over 6,000 years ago to help early Scandinavians hunt big game such as moose and bear."
