Vertical penguins.
The population of Adélie penguins at Cape Adare is the world's largest. Remarkably they travel some distance from the sea and ice as this photograph shows. Each spot is a penguin having climbed high onto a mountain facing Robertson Bay. The patterns created by the rock, gravel, ice and penguins were beautiful.
