    Edit Photo Details Charleroi, the forgotten city.  
    You can easily say that Charleroi is the ugliest city in Belgian, but, anyway, you can always find some spots to contradict that idea. The new cathedral was born from the ashes of the former one destroyed on World War II. On Sundays, Albert II square is invaded by a giant open air market tat gives to Charleroi the joy of ancient and happier times.
