The stunning Montserrat mountain in the distance floated like an island above the morning mist surrounding it. The brilliant green hues of the fields spread across the expanse of the Barcelona Province and the colours of the early morning sky provided the necessary vibrance to this scene. This was the view that I was experiencing while floating above the ground at 2000 metres in a hot air balloon.
