air bubbles frozen in ice
We were hiking uphill with a group of children from the Swiss Alpin Club when we came across a little lake with a frozen layer. Some kids started throwing rocks onto the ice to break it and took some ice plates and held these opaque glass like windows in front of their faces. Further away I found some frozen air bubbles above yellow shine rocks, all covered with this thin layer of ice. Some tracks of the melting and freezing process are visible, too.
