After a long day hike in Baliem Valley we arrived in a small village. The Village Chief Tito invited us to spend the night in the village. When the villages returned from the sweet potato field they opened their homes to us, showed us how they bake sweet potatoes in the ground, and shared their dinner with us. In the picture the young boy asks his mother for an extra potato.
