As we were driving through the Iranian landscape we came across this shepherd herding about 50 or so sheep and goats across the road. I was happy to see a new face after our 3 hr drive and as we stopped to talk to him about where he has been and where he lives as it didn't seem like were close to anything, he smiled a most genuine smile and I immediately liked him.
