    Edit Photo Details Dusk at Honeymoon Point   #beach #sunset #landscape #dusk #coast #flying_bird #dusk_at_beach #ngtravelhappy
The evening light at the Honeymoon Bay gave the whole scene a rich colour palette, from the fiery red of the red lichens to the gold stained granite rocks to the aqua gradation of the advancing waves. I was successful in using a slow shutter speed to blur the breaking waves, thus suggesting fluid motion, but not so in freezing the motion of a cormorant taking off from the rock in the midground. The result is a blurred shadow over the water.
