At first I thought she might have been one of the fifteen hundred other homeless people in Barcelona, but then I realized she was different. Her clothes are not rags. She is not covered in dirt, but clay. She is not begging but seems to be at peace with the world. She did not move for the duration that I watched her. And I wish only to know who she was and what she was doing. Unfortunately, both those questions are still unanswered.
