We used to have these tortoises where we lived for a while - amazing creatures. Over the years we lived with them we came to distinguish each one by it's size, shape, behaviour, etc. They each had a story. Even the oldest one, featured here, who suffered from blindness in his old age was so friendly and strong and we came to easily recognise him as he came into our garden for water and grass.
