The Eldest grandson of US President Harry Truman sits together with Hibakusha, and Hiroshima Maiden, Shigeko Sasamori. They took part in a program run by Hibakusha Stories, an NPO that devotes itself to bringing atomic bomb survivors to New York City schools. Together Clifton and Shigeko-san have been speaking for the past 3 years. She even calls him on his birthday every year! Its how they met! They were connected by a mutual friend and she called him on his 55th birthday!
