The weather can be a major feature, and hazard, of any travel in Ireland. After a day with a few showers, the evening in Glengarriff in County Cork was fine with a few clouds hovering over the nearby mountains. However In the morning it was a different story. The rain was belting down and all throughout the day, it poured...and it poured... and it poured...! !
