Edit Photo Details Limestone shop wall   #trainee #stonemason
A shop erected in the late 1800s in the main street of Mt Gambier was demolished leaving a vacant space that became a laneway. When walking through it, one can see the beautiful stone walls of the old shops on either side. The walls are of local limestone and the work makes one think of how the masons used whatever pieces of stone were close at hand.
