Late spring begins to bring the birds back to Nighthawk Gardens. It has been much later this year with all the snow and cold weather for us. But this week the migrant birds started to make a brief appearance before moving on. This Ruby-crowned Kinglet show up for 2 or 3 days; then headed out. This one liked my crabapple tree both for some cover/security as well as some insects in the tree; and water nearby in my bird habitat.
