A late fall day in the Snowies with nice weather so i hiked the Lakes Trail to enjoy some great hiking before winter would be on us. We already had some fall snow and the trail was a bit sloppy. Climbed up a small peak above Lookout Lake and was fortunate to get some nice afternoon light and the leading edge of another cold front getting ready to push through. Another week and the Snowy Range Road would most likely be closed for the winter, but today was just about perfect.
