After a long winter, the Snowies start to come alive again during May. Lots of snow, but a few trickles in some of the lower elevations streams. At the same time the clouds take on a more summery look with the cumulus clouds building over the peaks. Rain showers and snow showers are common, but we are heading towards another summer again. The Snowy Range Road opens around Memorial Day and once again we can savor the mountains up close.
