    While visiting the statue of Liberty in New York, I took this photograph of my boy friend, Damian's eye. At the time, I did not realize that my simple photo was much more than it appeared. If you look to the left side of his pupil, you will be able to see the Statue of Liberty in all of her glory. Damian's family immigrated from Poland. His great great grandfather came to America via Ellis Island. Think of how many eyes before his have looked at the Statue with hope and the pursuit of happiness
