Mike Lawie shooting the Milky Way as it comes around the corner of Hunter’s Head and reflects in Hunter’s Brook on Hunter’s Beach in Acadia National Park, May 20, 2015, 10:58 PM. I’d scouted this area out virtually with PhotoPills and Google Earth last fall, but needed to wait until the right month for the Milky Way to line up with the profile of the trees. The view didn’t disappoint! Nikon D700 & Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 @ 24mm, f/2.8, ISO 4000, 30 seconds, 3429°K
