I was walking back from Kitsalano Beach right as the sun was setting, and was struck by the vibrant colours over the water in the last hours of the day. But upon further examination, I noticed the interesting juxtaposition of paddle boarder, sailboats, and tankers. Looking so peaceful together here, there is considerable tension in the Pacific Northwest over industrial pressures.
