Traveller in my own country... one of my favourite pastimes. :) An older part of Singapore that had turned into a hipster place. These older shophouses now house a boutique hotel. Often, I wonder. We can preserve the outlook of these buildings but are we really preserving part of our history? Or are we doing things on the surface only?
