    It takes 378 steps down and 30 sec in the miner's lift to get back to the surface. Wieliczka, the salt mine in Poland, started in 13th century and has continued to operate until 21st century, like no other mine in the world. Full of salt sculptures made by the miners, underground lake and micro-climate this is not the UNESCO site.
