    Coming into Geiranger, I could see the tour boats leaving the docks and heading deeper into the fjords. I too would be on one of those boats within a few hours. The city of Geiranger is full of troll lore and lots of old architecture (in style and not in origin). I would also be traveling along the hairpin road which is seen in the right corner. Wenche, a local Norwegian, told me that the neighboring city can only be entered from that road (other than boats), making winters challenging.
