Warmth II
Puppies seek the warmth of a stove fire as mom cooks dinner.
I had to get down really low for this one. Getting to eye level was important to bring out the emotion and character of the puppies at that moment when it was wet, cold and starving for the comfort of the fire.
Cooking by firewood and burning yak/cow dung to keep warm during the cold nights is the norm along the Khumbu valley; energy obtained through means of solar and hydroelectricity are used only out of absolute necessity.
