This Northern Cardinal visits our back yard everyday and enjoys eating rice grains. The bird is very smart and alert and can sense the slightest of movements nearby hence making it difficult to capture them from a close range. This picture was captured from a distance of about 10 feet with a 75-300mm lens after hours of waiting stand still.
