The slightly older walrus had just stopped a mockfight between the two younger ones, when I took this shot. He was obviously the pods police and spotter. The kids was tooo rambunctious and too close to me. The pods congregate on the islands to breed at this time of year. This pod had found a paradise in a glacierpool with a sand beach! The location has to stay a secret to protect the pod from too many curious eyes.
