Traditional Himba woman
Himba woman carrying her kid in the back. As you can see in the photo, in the top of her had she carries a painted goat skin that is a symbolic representation that she reached puberty, according to one of the locals. The endings of her hair is made out of goat's hair. I stayed and worked with these people for a few days in 2009. www.farmerwithoutborders.com
