    Edit Photo Details Feeding Bumblebee Series 1-3   #green #bee #macro #orange #feeding #eating #bumblebee #lavender #macrophotography
Tech Specs: Canon 70D (F16, 1/60, ISO 200) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (just above 1x) + a diffused MT-24EX. This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held. Technique: I injected 2:1 sugar syrup into a Lavender flower to give the critter a reason to let me get close. I shaded the subject so that the flash would be the primary light source (to help freeze motion) and set the shutter and ISO so that I could use natural light to expose for the background.
