Crisscrossing the Southwest has long been a detour of mine, between my undergraduate in Albuquerque, traveling as a consultant and moving from Boston to Los Angeles once upon a time. I've always made it a point to drive through the amazing Monument Valley. However, until last summer, I'd never had the chance to visit Antelope Canyon. Imagine my surprise when photographing formations within the canyon, I found this structure, which remarkably reminded me of a Mitten from Monument Valley.
