    On the same day that I was blessed to a doe and fawn river crossing, I drift under a bridge and this eagle swoops down from a tree above and lands on this log not 15 feet from me in my kayak. Needless to say I shoot away, not trying to move and I'm drifting right towards this giant bird. My kayak snags on the same log its sitting on, I twist around with my back to this bird, shooting over my shoulder not 10 feet from him. Thought for sure I was eagle food when he took off. What a rush!!!
