My fiancée's mother had a cool surprise for me to look at when my fiancée and I arrived for the weekend. She had captured this huge spider outside her bathroom window and kept it in a jar for me to see. I am a studying wildlife biologist so she keeps any wildlife that I may like and leave it to me to find them new homes. This spider was bigger than a half dollar and I couldn't find what species it was, but I let it go on the porch and it started making its new web. This is the in progress shot.
