This picture was taken on one of my road trips to the Interiors of Orissa in India. Interiors of Orissa are few of the most backward parts of India. The people there depend only on minor agriculture and on primitive methods of stone crushing. With crooked legs and deeply sun burnt skin and with hardly any cloths, this is the figure of the general public. The world movies very fast for them and their hopes of catching up are distant dreams. The idea of the picture was to tell this story with effects.
