    Reported by:

On a road trip up the west coast last summer, I accidentally buried the car down to the frame in soft sands near Amargosa Dunes, NV. It was the first day of our trip, and it wasn't off to a good start. After calling the local towing outfit in Las Vegas, the estimated $1,100 towing charge was a bit overwhelming. So, with a little thought and using bits of wood and rubbish we found in the desert, we dug our selves out to freedom in about 5 hrs. This is my son doing a victory dune run :)
