Mourning
I suddenly heard what sounded like an intense primal cry from above so I looked up to see a bird flying at a large eagle. When I looked closer I could see the birds baby in the eagles claws. You can't imagine how this bird was attacking the eagle, anywhere the eagle went the bird was close behind. Soon after they flew behind the trees so I couldn't see them. But that night I was thinking how even birds must mourn for their children, there is no stronger bond than that of mother and child.
