I am privileged to watch a young Northern Flicker being attended to by the adult female. The young flicker is probably just days away from fledging. Each day he/she ventures out a little further. A family of Ravens are closely watching the nest, but I'm hoping the wee bird will escaped their predations. The photo was taken yesterday in the Grand Teton National Park.
