Our first safari was in Nakuru game park. Not one of the biggest or best known in Kenya, but lovely and not so big. Our driver was patient and intent on finding animals and birds that would delight us. And he knew so much about both fauna and flora. These trees are victims of the flooding in the park that has forced the park entrance to new heights. The trees are suffering from the salt water but thye looked beautiful to me with the light of the waning afternoon.
