After wandering around a pier for an hour I spotted a colony of gulls resting and watching the fishermen. I watched one fly off the front face of the building joined by his shadow. The shadowed shape grew as it spread down the wall. I wanted to capture that moment but they made me work for it. It was worth the wait I feel.
