If you want to know about the life of a town, the marketplace is a good place to go. I took this shot from the balcony above the colourful market stalls of fruit and vegetables in Sal Rei, the capital of Boa Vista, Cape Verde. The local produce on offer was very colourful and varied and you see a little knitted doll taking it all in, in the middle left.
