We were walking along QianHai Lake and noticed a group of men and women, of all ages, standing near the edge. We stopped to take in the scenery. To our surprise one of the older men stripped down to his Speedo and jumped into the water. He did the breast stroke about half way out and back in what looked like freezing cold water, his friends laughing and rooting him on. The others soon joined him. To them it seemed like just another night out.
