It was a dramatic sunset. A couple climbed up the hill to get an even better view. But the hill was a privately owned farmland and the couple was badly chewed up by a local photographer after having enjoyed the view from the top for several seconds. Biei is a beautiful place and I think it is definitely worth visiting. But when you go there, beware that you are not allowed to enter private lands. That said, I'm pretty grateful for the couple for making the scene very impressive.
