Iceland was my horse heaven. If you like horses, you need to go to Iceland. They are everywhere. Roaming free. Friendly. Curious. Gentle. We had the chance to stay at an Icelandic farm for one night where we had access to walk around and make ourselves at home. I basically spent hours in the pastures, watching horses interact with each other. Pet their soft forheads, inlace my fingers in their thick manes. Such beautiful animals.
